Some of your equipment may still need to be controlled by infrared (IR). After receipt of your Online Configuration Form we will inform you if any control hardware is required.
This control hardware sends the relevant IR commands, as if you were pointing the actual remote at the equipment. It uses discrete, stick on infrared emitters that you position over the IR sensor area on the relevant equipment. The good news is that more and more equipment can be controlled over your home network without ANY additional hardware - this is known as IP control. |
